Description

Matala Pond Vac II Vacuum

Uses a single-chamber suction system. This means that the vacuum fills with material removed from the pond and then automatically shuts off via an internal float and drains via gravity. The vacuum will typically fill in 20-40 seconds and then discharge in 20-30 seconds. This type of vacuum is only suitable for small applications and will require some patience due to the on/off cycle.

The Matala Pond Vac II, also known as the MuckBuster, offers a 2 H.P. motor made with the highest quality German manufactured components. Suction tests were four times more powerful than its competition with a suction lift 5′ above water.

  • Collection container with motor casing and 16 ft cable.
  • 8 ft. discharge hose with integrated blocking flap.
  • 16 ft. suction hose
  • 5 extension tubes.
  • Adjustable floor nozzles (for particle size 1/10″,.1/5″,3/8″)
  • 1 Sludge collection bag

Matala Pond Vacuum II Plus

The new Matala Pond Vacuum II Plus has a tank capacity of 6.6 gallons – 25% larger than the Pond Vac II. The high quality German 1.5 HP motor has all the suction power of a 2 HP but is more energy efficient.

The auto fill and drain cycles allow for water to fill the vacuum canister, then simply discharge water into the garden or yard drains. The on/off cycle is approximately 50 seconds vacuum and 25 seconds drain out. During the vacuum cycle the holding tank fills with dirty water. Once full, the motor will turn off automatically. The dirty water will start to drain out the drain hose. When empty, it turns itself back on automatically and continues to vacuum. Use the optional mesh bag to capture coarse debris before releasing the dirty water to the garden or yard drain.

  • 1150 watts
  • 6.6 gal capacity tank
  • 16 ft. suction hose
  • 8 ft. discharge hose
  • Max depth up to 6 ft.
  • (x5) 15″ long extension tubes
  • 16.4 ft. power cord

Matala Pond Vacuum PRO

The Matala Pond Vacuum PRO has a tank capacity of 9.5 gallons – 85% larger than the Pond Vac II. The high quality German 1.5 HP motor has all the suction power of a 2 HP but is more energy efficient. This type of vacuum is suitable for smaller applications and will require some patience due to the on/off cycle.

The auto fill and drain cycles allow for water to fill the vacuum canister, then simply discharge water into the garden or yard drains. The on/off cycle is approximately 70 seconds vacuum and 35 seconds drain out.

Matala Power-Cyclone Pond Vacuum

The suction motor will vacuum up to 1500 gph. The internal discharge motor is 1 HP and is capable of discharging your dirty water under pressure up to 18 feet in elevation. The motors are balanced in flow rate so vacuum job is continuous without interruption. The 6 foot extension pipe combines with 26 feet of suction hose allowing for easy handling during even your biggest pond vacuum jobs. 4 different size vacuum heads are included. Debris is vacuumed into the 13 gallon holding tank whereby large solids are collected into a pre-filter bag first. The dirty water is then pumped out to waste by the action of the internal 1 HP sludge pump. 32 ft of exhaust hose allows the waste water to be pumped to any elevation up to 18 feet high. Total working distance is over 60 feet. An optional secondary exhaust hose can be added onto the end of the discharge hose to gain an additional 32 ft if needed.

This innovative “Power” vacuum is very versatile and can be used in a variety of applications.
