Evolution Aqua Surge’s innovative 18-Watt UVC pond filter features patented Air Clean Technology, K+Media, mounting brackets, ball valves, hosetails, and a clear drain hose for easy cleaning. It is ready for pump-fed systems in koi ponds up to 1,320 gallons.

This external filter has a built-in UV clarifier that helps eliminate green water. It uses open-cell K+Media and draws air into the filter. As air and water mix inside the filter, the media moves chaotically, dislodging the trapped waste. Dirty water then exits the bottom of the filter via the waste line, effectively cleaning K+Media and returning pristine water to the pond. There are no dirty sponges or foams to clean, so you get to keep your hands dry, giving you more time to enjoy your pond.

The surge filter’s compact design is perfect for when space is limited. Mounting brackets and stepped hosetail fittings (0.75″, 1″, and 1.25″) are supplied for simple connection to flexible hose. Ball valves are also supplied for easy operation. The clear hose provided allows you to see wastewater flow when draining.
