Product Details
Atlantic Fish Safe Silicone comes in a 2.8 ounce and a 10.3 ounce tube and has a 2-year shelf life. The black Room Temperature Vulcanization (RTV) silicone sealant is used to create a watertight seal where liner is attached to filtration components. Permanently flexible RTV silicone ensures a watertight connection every time. Atlantic’s RTV formula cures quickly for a permanent flexible seal. For best results apply when temperatures are above 40°F.
When to Use
Use Atlantic 100% silicone, permanently flexible, fish-safe, high-performance sealant to create a watertight seal during pond liner and skimmer filtration installations in water gardens or Koi ponds.
How to Apply
Remove dirt, grease or moisture from surfaces to be bonded. Cut nozzle at angle to desired bead size. Apply silicone in a consistent bead approximately 0.25″ thick. Dries tack free in about 30 minutes. Total curing time 24 hours. Apply at temperatures above 40°F.
