First Class Workmanship and Design
• Seasonal Flow Control (SFC) Technology
• Patented Pump Frost Protection
• Resistance to Seawater and Chlorinated Water
Patented Optional Seasonal Flow Control (SFC) allows for intelligent and environmentally-conscious regulation of flow rate and pumping height based on water temperature for energy savings. Patented frost protection allows the pump to endure any seasonal conditions down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees Celsius). AquaMax Eco Expert is resistant to seawater and pool water (saltwater and chlorine capable).

Distinctive Pump Features
• 230V Pump Series with 33′ Power Cord
• Compatible With Submerged or Inline Installations
• Quiet, Energy-Efficient Motor for Indoor or Outdoor Features
The AquaMax Eco Expert is a powerful, energy-efficient brushless DC filtration pump for demanding filter systems or for large water feature installations. The robust stainless steel intake screen displaces coarse debris particles up to 11 mm in size. An environmental Function Control feature (EFC) shuts off the pump in the event of a dry run or blockage to stop the pump from damaging itself.

Best Eco Large Volume Pump
• No Minimum Head Height for Operation
• Flow Rates up to 11,500 Liters per Hour
• Maximum Power Consumption of Only 700-Watts
Oase AquaMax Eco Expert is a next-generation pump outstandingly suited for extremely powerful and economical water delivery. This pond filter and waterfall pump combine enormous power with remarkable energy efficiency. Reaching 6,800 to 11,500 GPH and maximum head pressure of 28′ to 31′ while consuming only 440-700 watts of power. Unlike direct drive pumps which are susceptible to suction cavitation and pump damage, the AquaMax Eco Expert has no minimum head height for operation.

When to Use
The Oase AquaMax Eco Expert is intended to be used for pumping normal pond water for filters, waterfalls, and water courses. The unit is either submerged or set up in a dry location.
Maintenance and Cleaning
• Clean the unit at least twice a year or as needed.
• When cleaning the pump, pay attention to the cleaning of the impeller unit and pump housing.
• Do not use harsh cleaning agents. To remove stubborn limescale deposits we recommend using Airmax D-Scale Cleaner and rise all parts in clean water.
Start-Up
Special Note: The 33′ power cord is a standard 3-wire, 220-240 spliced cord. This will require the cord to be spliced into a plug end (purchased separately from any hardware store) before plugging the cord into an outlet. This pump can also be controlled by an existing Oase Eco Control or Oase Easy Garden Control (EGC).
When started up, the pump automatically performs a pre-programmed self-test of approx. two minutes length (Environmental Function Control (EFC)). The pump detects if it is running dry / blocked or submerged. The pump switches off automatically after approx. 90 seconds if it runs dry (is blocked). In the event of a malfunction, disconnect the power supply and flood the pump or remove the obstacle. Following this, the unit can be restarted.
Storage/Winterization
The unit is frost resistant to minus -4°F (20 °C). Should you store the unit outside of the pond, clean it thoroughly with a soft brush and water, check it for damage, then store immersed in water or filled with water. Do not immerse the power plug in the water!
How to Read a Water Pump Flow Chart
The Flow Chart below is designed to allow you to plot your pond’s water-flow requirements, and easily determine which pond pump will meet those requirements.
Start by calculating your pond’s specific water-flow requirements, measured by Head Pressure (Feet) and Gallons Per Hour (GPH) water flow. Our Interactive Pond Help Guide to Choosing a Pond Pump will guide you step-by-step through the process.
Flow Chart

After plotting your calculation on the Flow Chart, find a pump that falls in the middle third of the pump curve, not too close to either axis. Pumps that fall on the fringes of the curve will not work as efficiently for your application, and they will be pushed to their operating limits, reducing their life span.
Other Considerations When Choosing a Pump:
It’s Better to Oversize than Undersize: You are better to slightly oversize a pump than to undersize. When oversizing, you can always install a ball valve to reduce the water down to your desired flow.
Check Your Other Equipment: Choose a pump that does not exceed the indicated maximum flow rate on your filter or water feature. Also, be sure the tubing you select can handle the flow rate of your pump.
