Airmax Winterization Cap

You may choose to winterize your pond or lake aeration system to avoid potentially dangerous openings or thin ice, and to avoid frozen airlines from freezing condensation, by removing the compressor/cabinet and storing it over the winter. If you do, capping your airlines over winter will prevent debris and other contaminants from getting inside the airline. Airmax Winterization Caps can be placed over airline connections once disconnected from the compressor flex tubes.

Choose from two sizes: 3/4″ FPT Quick Disconnect cap for all SW and PS systems bought prior to 2022, or 1/2″ Female Socket Camlock cap for all LS systems bought prior to 2022 and any PS system that has been fitted with optional Camlock hose connections. For any PS10, PS20, or PS40 system bought in and after 2022, if winterization is anticipated, Airmax recommends installing optional Camlock hose connections for easy removal for winter, and easy re-installation in the spring. PS60, LS80, and LS120 systems do not require winterization caps due to their unique compressor removal system.
