Airmax SilentAir RP Series Rocking Piston Replacement Compressors are the heart and soul of Airmax Aeration Systems. Built with Integrated SmartStart Technology (IST) the air compressors are protected during pressurized restarts following power supply interruptions.

These highly efficient air pumps cam produce 2.3 to 7.1 CFMs at 0.8 to 3.15 Amps, while costing as little as $0.44 to $1.73 per day. Each replacement aeration compressor is backed by a 2-year warranty and comes with a 34″ power cord. Select from 115V or 230V in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or 1 horsepower options.

*RP25(87R) 1/2HP Compressor has a max depth of 10′ when used with the Shallow Water HP Series, but when used with the Airmax PondSeries (Pre-2022 models) the max depth is 21′ or 50′ when airline is connected to a camlock kit.

Pro Tip

We recommend placing the compressor in a well-ventilated area for adequate airflow to ensure proper performance.

Maintenance

Make sure that compressor is unplugged and pressure is released before performing maintenance.

  • Regularly inspect inlets and outlets for obstructions and for proper airflow.
  • Clean or replace air filter every 3-6 months. Sold separately.
  • Install piston maintenance kit every 12-18 months depending on running PSI. Sold separately.
  • When not in use store in a cool, dry location to avoid damage from moisture
